Burdon
The table on the left shows my main Burdon line taken back as far as is known at the time of writing. Following the links in the right hand box (when they are working) will take you to the detail of the family group.
The detail given essentially comprises locations and dates rather than 'colour' - although where I have them I shall scan in photographs. As with all of the pages which I am putting together under this heading, I have imposed an arbitrary cut-off at about 1920 to respect the privacy of family members.
Although the presentation of this information is my own, the research behind this has been done by several researchers to whom acknowledgement is freely given. These people include Rowland Burdon, Dr. Douglas Burdon, Albert and Morris Burdon and Catherine Ingham all of whom are (or at least in the case of Douglas are probably) also my relatives to some degree. Any errors are, of course, entirely mine and if you spot them you should notify me in the usual way. In general the information which I have is either proven or circumstancially strong - and I have tried to indicate which is which. Nonetheless as with all genealogical information, from time to time something new is discovered which changes a perspective or an interpretation of data. When this happens I'll change what is posted.
